Slovenia: "Slovenian railway market can be profitable"

Ferdinand Schmidt, member of the management board of Rail Cargo Austria, says in an interview that he predicts that cargo traffic on Slovenian railways will double in the next 15 years.

On 5 July, Austrian RCA can begin to operate trains on Slovenian railway lines. The company with EUR 2.5 billion yearly revenue is going to retain a 5 pct annual growth upon entering Slovenian rail market.
